From your files to the finished delivery.
Import the surround mix.
Drop your 5.1 or 7.1 mix, interleaved or as a multi-mono set. Sponable recognizes it as one surround entry in the list.
Choose the stereo fold-down.
Select Lo/Ro or Lt/Rt according to the receiving workflow. Check the channel material and delivery specification before processing.
Export and check the stereo result.
Sponable measures the source and result and protects the output from overload. Listen to the downmix and review the delivery settings.
A surround set becomes one job.
Multi-mono channel files appear as one surround entry, ready for stereo downmix, matching to picture or export. This helps keep the channel set together in the delivery workflow.
Upmix and downmix solve different tasks.
Downmix produces stereo from surround. If your source is stereo and you need a 5.1 or 7.1 set, use Cinema Upmix and check its QC report instead.
Before your first export.
Can I downmix separate mono channel files?
Yes. A multi-mono surround set is recognized as one surround entry and can be prepared for stereo downmix.
Which stereo format should I choose?
Choose Lo/Ro for a standard stereo fold-down, or Lt/Rt when the receiving workflow calls for a matrix-encoded stereo delivery. Match the option to the delivery specification.
Can I try it with my own files?
